Two weekends, dozens of acts: Philly’s biggest September music festivals

Music lovers and festival hoppers have plenty of reasons to celebrate this month, two multi-day musical occasions are on Philly’s set list.

Firstly, Breakaway Music Festival will return to Philadelphia for its second year on Sept. 11 and 12 at The Festival Grounds at Subaru Park, bringing two days of electronic music and live performances led by headliners Tiësto, Marshmello, ISOxo and Sofi Tukker. The festival’s two-day lineup also includes 2ŁØT, ARMNHMR, Avello, Brainrack, Capochino, CID, Deathpact, Devault, Gazza, HILLS, JUULS, KREAM, Layton Giordani and plenty of others, with a full schedule of performers available online.

Philadelphia marks the 10th stop on Breakaway’s 2026 tour, which will visit a record 13 cities nationwide, including new markets in New York City, Houston, and Salt Lake City. The festival’s broader 2026 schedule runs through November, with stops in Dallas, Tampa, Arizona, Atlanta and other markets.
