A Kyle man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after he was found guilty of murdering a teenager in December 2020.
Isaac Arispe, 21, of Kyle, was 15 years old when he shot Christopher Trevino, 19, in the chest while attempting to rob Trevino’s 15-year-old sister, according to a news release from the Hays County Criminal District Attorney’s office.
Arispe had arranged to purchase marijuana from the sister while “messaging other friends and family asking for bullets and stating that he planned on robbing someone,” the release said. When he drew a gun, Trevino ran over to help his sister, and Arispe shot him once in the chest…
