Montgomery police are investigating a motor vehicle theft that occurred Tuesday morning.
At 4 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the 2400 block of Mayfield Drive for reports of shots fired. The investigation determined that a resident became aware of the theft of a 2018 Dodge Durango parked in a driveway. When the victim attempted to interrupt the theft, shots were fired. No injuries were reported in the incident.
