Governor McMaster Issues Executive Order Regarding Charleston County School Trustee Darlene Dunmeyer-Roberson

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Governor Henry McMaster today issued Executive Order 2026-19 providing Charleston County School District Board of Trustees member Darlene Dunmeyer-Roberson notice of charges and an opportunity to be heard pursuant to S.C. Code § 59-19-60.

On January 15, 2026, Governor McMaster requested that the State Inspector General investigate the conduct of one or more members of the Charleston County School District Board of Trustees. The Inspector General submitted a report to the Governor on August 27, 2026.
