Florida man wounded in Waterbury shooting behind Brass Mill Center, police say

WATERBURY — A Florida man checked himself into a Waterbury hospital early Saturday morning after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in a shooting behind the Brass Mill Center mall, police said.

Waterbury Police Department said in a release Saturday afternoon that patrol officers were notified of the incident at about 2:25 a.m.

The 29-year-old Orlando man’s injuries were not life-threatening, police said. He had suffered gunshot wounds to his lower extremities and he was in stable condition, police said…
