WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A line of severe thunderstorms caused damage across Bladen, Columbus and Pender counties, according to reports by the National Weather Service.
The first local storm report from the National Weather Service came in around 5 p.m., noting trees down in Tarheel.
Trees down were also reported in Elizabethtown, Cerro Gordo, Atkinson, Currie and Whiteville.
