LFR responds to at least 8 calls for heat-related issues in downtown Lincoln after the Husker game

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – High heat didn’t stop Huskers Nation from celebrating in downtown Lincoln on Saturday, but it did cause several people to seek medical attention.

According to Lincoln Fire and Rescue, at least eight people sought medical attention for heat exposure in downtown Lincoln. Several people reported unconsciousness or fainting spells due to the heat.
