The Bulldogs are heavily favored by 28.5 points to win their season opener on Saturday night at home against UL Monroe. Next week’s game will be Minnesota’s first home game against an opponent from the Southeastern Conference (SEC) since hosting Vanderbilt in 1959. It will be a pivotal matchup for both Mississippi State and the Gophers, and the game will be broadcast at 2:30 p.m. CT on CBS.
