TULSA, Okla. — A new section of the Tulsa Zoo’s upcoming William S. Smith African Wilds complex is now open to visitors.
The newly opened pathway gives guests access to the zoo’s rhinos, giraffes and other African species while offering the first look at part of the new African Wilds complex.
The area includes the Helmerich Meerkat Exhibit, Hardesty Family Foundation Giraffe Encounter and new amenities including restrooms, water refill stations and the Meerkat Market concessions and retail location…
