Many still without power in Prince George’s County, DC following severe storms

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — After strong and severe thunderstorms swept across the DMV Thursday night, leaving behind damaged utility lines and downed trees, crews are continuing to work to restore service to families days later.

As of 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Pepco stated that service has been restored for nearly 90% of impacted customers across Prince George’s County, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.

1,633 customers remain without power, with 811 located in Prince George’s County and 822 in D.C. Pepco stated that all outages have been restored in Montgomery County…
