A woman riding an electric bicycle was hit and killed by a Volvo SUV near the intersection of 12th and F streets in Colton Friday.
Officers with the Colton Police Department and paramedics responded to the crash at about 6:50 p.m. and gave the woman emergency care. She was taken to the hospital where she later died from her injuries.
Authorities identified the cyclist killed in the crash as 38-year-old Asandria Jacobo of Colton.
The driver of the Volvo remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, police said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation…
