One Dead, Two Injured After Infiniti Hits Howard County Police Vehicle, Crashes

JESSUP, Md. – One man was killed and two other people were hospitalized after an Infiniti struck an occupied, parked Howard County Police vehicle early Sunday and then crashed about a mile away, authorities said.

The initial collision happened at approximately 2:17 a.m. in the 7100 block of Montevideo Road in Jessup. Police said a 2018 Infiniti Q60 struck the police vehicle before the driver fled and an officer pursued.

Infiniti Crashes About a Mile Away

The Infiniti crashed into a retaining wall approximately one mile from where the police vehicle was struck, according to Howard County Police.
