A Chicago man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting on the city’s West Side.
Jordan Watkins, 38, a resident of the 200 block of West 46th Place, faces charges of first-degree attempted murder, aggravated battery/discharge of a firearm, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, being a habitual criminal, and possession of a stolen firearm.
Watkins was arrested Wednesday on the 200 block of North Hamlin Boulevard. Police said he was identified as the offender who, on Aug. 29, shot and injured a 29-year-old man on the 700 block of North Lawndale Avenue in the city’s Humboldt Park neighborhood…
