Cooler Temperatures In Forecast Following Record Heat

Although temperatures will remain in the upper 80s and low 90s this week, there is some relief in the forecast from last week’s near record September Temperatures.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a high temperature this Sunday of 91 degrees, with Monday’s high to top at 89, and Tuesday’s peak temperature at 92. Overnight lows will drop to 64 Sunday night and 66 Monday night.

Although Trigg, Christian, Todd, Caldwell, and Lyon Counties are no longer under any type of heat advisory, Calloway, Marshall, and other counties to the west will remain under a heat advisory until 8:00 Sunday night…
