HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Inspections on the Market Street Bridge between Harrisburg and City Island will result in lane and sidewalk restrictions this week.
PennDOT announced that crews will be on site between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday. The right lane and sidewalk on the westbound side of the bridge will be closed during this time.

The other westbound lane will remain open, while both eastbound lanes and the accompanying sidewalk will see no closures as well.
Pedestrians looking to travel the bridge via the closed sidewalk should cross at the designated at-grade crossings.
