RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – Virginia health officials are tracking a small, but noticeable, uptick in rabies cases in the Richmond area and surrounding counties.
Henrico County has already seen its ninth rabies case of 2026. Richmond has seen a bat rabies case this year, and Greensville County has a confirmed case in a skunk.
