GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) — Several Labor Day festivals and parades are taking place across northeast Wisconsin Monday, while holiday travelers face heavy road and airport traffic as they return home.
Greater Green Bay Labor Council picnic
The Greater Green Bay Labor Council is holding its annual family picnic at Bay Beach, bringing together local unions, families and community leaders to celebrate the workforce.
The picnic starts at 11 a.m. with a VFW honor guard tribute, followed by opening remarks at 11:30 a.m. The event includes kids’ games, hourly raffles and ongoing bingo games.
All proceeds from ticket sales and raffles will be donated directly to local shelters and food pantries.
