Authorities have arrested a Colorado Springs woman, Kim Johnston, for allegedly letting her 91-year-old mother crawl outside the house with a broken hip on a blistering hot day, where she cried for help on the sidewalk before passing away from a cardiac arrest.

Court records reveal the 59-year-old woman was the caretaker and daughter of the victim, Son Johnston, Knewz has learned.
On the day of the incident, Kim was allegedly annoyed with her mother, leading her to open the door for the older woman to crawl out into their front yard, even though it was 90 degrees outside, local news outlet KRDO reported.
