A mother in Indiana allegedly left her 7-month-old child alone at home for hours while she engaged with neighbors in an intoxicated state, resulting in the eventual death of the infant.
The infant died three weeks after the incident
28-year-old Nash Williams was arrested on Wednesday, September 2, and charged with child neglect resulting in the death and neglect of a dependent after her son, 7-month-old Syncere Williams, was found unresponsive, via WTHR.
On March 30, the victim was found unresponsive when first responders arrived at the location in the 1400 block of South Bancroft Street, near Emerson and Southeastern Avenues in East Indianapolis, Indiana.
