On the night of September 3, 2026, at approximately 9:30 PM, the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shooting in the (Wesley Chapel area) 600–900 block of 55th Avenue in Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee.
During the incident, a victim was operating a motor vehicle when the vehicle was fired upon three times. The victim was struck by gunfire once in the leg. The victim received medical treatment for their injuries.
