SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV)– On Monday morning, Sept. 7, around 7:00 a.m., the Manlius Police Department was called to the area of Kirkville Road and Girden Road in the Town of Manlius for a reported car that hit a utility pole.
The investigation found that the car was driving westbound on Kirkville Road and was hit by power lines as a utility pole collapsed for unknown reasons into the roadway.
The driver was briefly trapped in his car by the power lines but was able to get out himself. The driver was seen by members of the Minoa Fire Department ambulance and declined treatment…
