A motorcyclist was killed last Saturday after missing a turn and slamming into a wall along Northeast Loop 820 in Fort Worth, according to police. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene, and the crash appears to have involved only the single motorcycle.
Fort Worth police officers responded to the crash around 8:40 p.m. at 2500 Northeast Loop 820, at the eastbound North Freeway Express northbound exit, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Investigators believe the rider missed his turn before hitting the wall, though the investigation remains ongoing. WFAA confirmed the same dispatch time and exit location in its own reporting on the crash.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the rider’s identity once next of kin have been notified. No further details about the rider’s age or the specific circumstances that led to the missed turn have been released as the investigation continues.
