CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Old Town Clovis Water Tower is going to light up the sky in red, white, and blue in honor of 9/11 and America’s 250th birthday.
The ceremony begins at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, at the northwest corner of 5th Street and Veterans Parkway in Clovis. The Old Town Water Tower is in clear view from this spot and will be lit up in patriotic colors at the evening’s end.
The lighting ceremony will include a national anthem performance, speeches from city leaders, and remarks from a 9/11 survivor, Michael Montelongo. Montelongo used to be the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force, and he was inside the Pentagon during the attacks…
