The town of New Haven in Oswego County had the highest full value property tax rate in Central New York in 2025, according to data from the New York State Comptroller’s Office.
The town’s full value tax rate of $8.49 per $1,000 of full taxable value was the highest of all towns last year in a five-county region of Central New York, including Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Onondaga and Oswego counties. New Haven’s full value tax rate was the 21st-highest in all of New York in 2025.
