Stabbing Suspect On The Run In Capital Region After Attacking Albany Teen: Authorities

A 19-year-old man was stabbed in the back and arms early Monday, Sept. 7 in the Capital Region, police said.

Cops responded to the stabbing report around 1 a.m. Monday on the 1300 block of Washington Avenue in Albany, the Albany Police Department said. They found the teenager, who was transported to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.

Investigators have identified a suspect who knew the victim, according to the police department. The two people were involved in an altercation before the suspect stabbed the victim and fled the scene, cops said. They have not been publicly identified…
