DADE COUNTY, Georgia — Glass and metal can be recycled repeatedly without losing quality, yet millions of glass bottles and jars still end up in U.S. landfills each year.
Dade County is launching a new glass recycling program aimed at reducing landfill waste, joining communities like Chattanooga that are working to increase glass recycling.
“Glass and metal are actually the only materials that are infinitely recyclable,” said Jennifer Blair, a Dade County resident.
