Metro Detroit native Chris Hansen says he hasn’t ruled out suing the New York studio that produced a film set to be released Sept. 25 based on him and his former NBC show, “To Catch a Predator.”
Hansen was asked Aug. 26 by SiriusXM radio host Dan Abrams if he planned to sue the studio, A24, which produced the film “Prime Time,” starring actor Robert Pattinson, who plays Hansen.
“People are looking at it,” Hansen told Abrams, adding that a person in entertainment law said, “you probably have a decent case. How much time do you want to spend doing it?” Hansen has yet to see the movie, which he suggested is exploiting his name and brand for profit without his permission…
