Third round of Fort Wayne nonprofits receiving opioid settlement funds announced Tuesday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Fort Wayne Mayor Sharon Tucker has announced the third round of area nonprofits that will be getting a share of the city’s opioid settlement funds.

A total of 14 nonprofits are set to receive $520,350 in the latest funding distribution, determined by the city’s National Opioid Settlement Committee.

The first round of recipients was announced in November, splitting more than $1 million amongst 12 organizations. More than $470,000 in funding was allocated to the second group, consisting of 12 nonprofits, in March…
