Officials offering $5K reward for information in 2002 Lancaster homicide

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Lancaster County Crime Stoppers are offering a $5,000 reward for information that would lead to solving a homicide case from 2002.

Police said on July 4, 2002, officers arrived to the 100 block of Dauphin Street in Lancaster city around 3 a.m. to find 29-year-old Victor “Shorty” Melendez lying in an alley on the south side of the street.
