A resident of the Village of Pinellas with a history of violent arrests is back behind bars after he allegedly stalked and harassed a witness in his ongoing domestic violence case.
William Henry Lewis, 57, who lives in the Perdido Villas in the Village of Pinellas, was arrested Saturday by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of stalking.
According to an arrest report, a woman contacted law enforcement to report that Lewis had been sending her a barrage of vulgar and derogatory messages. The victim, who is a witness in a pending domestic battery case against Lewis, said the harassment began in the months following his March arrest.
The woman allegedly received 17 text messages, voice recordings, and social media comments across platforms like Instagram and YouTube. The messages were intended solely to cause emotional distress, the report noted…
