A Summerfield man’s attempt to merge onto Interstate 75 on Labor Day evening ended with a boat skidding down the highway after he allegedly failed to negotiate a curve.
The 43-year-old driver, who hails from just outside Florida’s Friendliest Hometown, was behind the wheel of an Acura MDX traveling southbound on the Blanton Road entrance ramp onto I-75 at 6:30 p.m., according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
