The community has rallied to raise tens of thousands of dollars in support of Ocala rider and trainer Jaime Gibson, who is recovering from surgery after she sustained a severe injury in a competition fall.
Gibson, a professional rider and trainer at FoxFlower LLC horse boarding facility in Ocala, was competing at Fox Lea Farm on September 4 when the accident occurred.
