Roanoke receives $6.25M grant to remove lead paint from homes

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)- The City of Roanoke received a $6.25 million grant to remove lead paint hazards from about 150 homes.

Lead exposure to children are associated with developmental delays, difficulty learning, and behavioral issues, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
