STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — For an unknown period of time, sewage has flowed from the Stone House restaurant at Clove Lakes Park into the waterway, the Advance/SILive.com learned Tuesday.
Official details were limited, but a Department of Environmental Protection dye test on Sept. 1 confirmed that sewage from the popular lakefront restaurant had made its way into the surrounding body of water, a source said Tuesday.
