BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) – The Town of Bluffton is inviting residents, businesses, and local organizations to help keep the May River clean by participating in the 37th annual Beach Sweep/River Sweep.
The volunteer cleanup will take place on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Oyster Factory Park (63 Wharf St.).
The River Sweep is part of South Carolina’s largest one-day volunteer waterway cleanup event. This year marks Bluffton’s 18th year participating in the sweep, which allows volunteers to work on both land- and water-based cleanup efforts.
