Sept. 13 will be a day of celebration in Institute Park as the seventh annual Brazilian Festival of Worcester brings music, dance and a taste of Brazil to the city.
“For one day, everybody unites,” organizer Suely DiBara said. “We live thousands of miles away from our country and it’s good when we bring something from there to here, to make them feel that in their hearts, they are close.”
The free festival, held in September each year to honor the Sept. 7 anniversary of Brazilian independence from Portugal, is expected to draw 2,000 revelers over the course of the day, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m…
