WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Councilmember Trayon White is set to go on trial next week, accused of accepting bribes in exchange for helping secure government contracts.
White is charged with one count of bribery.
On Tuesday, about 100 people were called in as potential jurors and given a questionnaire with about 150 questions. The questionnaire will be used to narrow down the jury pool as both sides of the case prepare for a more formal jury selection process later in the week…
