Project Spring is a proposed Google data center to be built in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
City officials say no final decision has been made, but the development of the project may have been stalled by a title discrepancy. In March, a conservation group called Land Legacy filed a lawsuit to enforce a claim preventing development on property where Google plans to build a data center in Sand Springs. Land Legacy has a conservation easement covering 270 of the larger 800+ acre development site’s perimeter.
