Sioux Falls man sentenced for possession with intent to distribute meth

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – US Attorney Ron Parsons announced on Tuesday that a US district judge sentenced Angelo Mario Butler, Jr., of Sioux Falls to over four years in federal prison.

Butler was convicted of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine after being indicted by a federal grand jury in January 2026.

He was originally found in possession of individually packaged bags of meth during a traffic stop in September of 2025. He admitted intent to distribute and pleaded guilty in June…
