BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A new movie that takes place in Buffalo is currently being filmed in Western New York.
The film, called “Local Talent,” is about a struggling Buffalo actor who gets conned into raising money for a TV pilot. The cast and crew were at Ilio DiPaolo’s in Blasdell on Tuesday. The film’s director said Western New Yorkers may recognize some other locations when the movie comes out — as well as local sports celebrities like Jim Kelly and Rob Ray.
“This is a movie about Buffalo, with the people from Buffalo. So shooting in Buffalo and at Buffalo locations just seemed right,” director Bill Murray III said.
