WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WTVY) – A Tennessee couple has been reunited with several important and cherished items, including a wedding ring, thanks to the work of authorities in Walton County, Florida.
The Balentines were visiting the Panhandle in July for a beach vacation, when at some point during the trip multiple things turned up missing, among them being a wallet, a pair of earrings and a custom-made ornate rose gold ring.
“We didn’t know what happened,” the couple said in a statement made to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office. “We didn’t know if our toddler may have thrown them away by accident, if we misplaced them, or if someone took them. We just had no idea.”…
