FAIRPORT, N.Y. — A Fairport man discovered $1,000 in potentially fraudulent charges on his bank statement that appeared to be from E-Z Pass New York.
Joe Centanni found four withdrawals from his account in one day: $400, $300, $200 and $100. News10NBC Chief Investigative Reporter Berkeley Brean reviewed Centanni’s bank records, which showed the charges were made to look like legitimate E-Z Pass replenishment charges.

“This is odd,” Centanni said when he saw the charges.
