ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A familiar corner in Rochester is getting new life, as a father-son team serves up pizza, subs and wings in a building with a long neighborhood history.
Iverson’s Pizza, Subs and Wings opened in August at the corner of Blossom and Winton roads, taking over part of a building that has housed several restaurants and bars over the years.
The intersection has long been known for neighborhood spots, including the Blossom Road Pub, Bay and Goodman Pizza and, before that, the Winton Bar and Grill.
Now, 24-year-old Khalil Iverson and his father, Damon, are hoping to add their own chapter to the corner’s history…
