EL PASO, Texas (KVIA)– The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) has announced the return of its annual music and entertainment event, Minerpalooza.
The free event is on Friday, Sept. 11, from 6 to 11:45 p.m., takes place on Centennial Plaza, and organizers say it features a lineup that reflects the diverse sounds and cultural influences of the Borderland region.
“Something especially exciting about this year’s lineup is the connection to El Paso and the Borderland,” said Stephanie Lawler, assistant director of the Student Engagement and Leadership Center. “We really wanted the entertainment to feel representative of our community while still giving attendees a mix of sounds, styles and performances throughout the event.”…
