OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A child who was allegedly kidnapped from Council Bluffs by their own mother has been found in Mississippi, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
In July, the Council Bluffs Police Department was notified that the child could not be found after a supervised visit, and a felony arrest warrant was issued. Marshals followed a lead to Mississippi and found the child and mother Sept. 3 in Jackson.
The mother, who has not been identified, remains in a Mississippi jail awaiting extradition to Iowa…
