HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — Drivers in Hamilton County will face a long-term closure on a stretch of Hickory Ridge Drive after flash flooding on August 7 caused major damage to a bridge.
Hickory Ridge Drive is closed between Standifer Gap Road and Birch Drive after the Hamilton County Highway Department inspected the site and found significant damage to the bridge.
A subsequent evaluation by the Tennessee Department of Transportation determined the roadway could not safely remain open…
