CINCINNATI (WKRC) – After weeks without significant rainfall, the Tri-State is about to enter a wetter weather pattern, but the much-needed rain will come with a risk of strong storms and localized flooding.
Wednesday will remain hot and humid, with temperatures reaching the low 90s and a heat index approaching 100 degrees. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will begin developing late Wednesday afternoon and evening before becoming more widespread overnight.
The Tri-State is under a Level 1 out of 5 severe weather risk, with isolated damaging wind gusts and heavy rainfall the primary concerns.
