Lawsuit filed against Archer United employee for DUI, causing vehicle explosion

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) – The family of Marilyn Burkett has filed a lawsuit against an assistant project manager with Archer United and other major construction companies.

The complaint alleges that assistant project manager Sydney Ezelle was driving a company-issued truck at 86 mph in a 45 mph zone on Sept. 4, 2024. Ezelle slammed into Burkett’s Nissan Rogue causing both vehicles to “explode into flames.” Burkett died from the incident…
