FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Fort Wayne-based defense contractor and manufacturer GovParts is expanding its operations with a multimillion-dollar investment, Governor Mike Braun announced Wednesday.
GovParts is investing $3.4 million to renovate a 55,000-square-foot facility on an eight-acre site near the Fort Wayne International Airport. The new facility is nearly five times the size of the company’s current space, the governor’s office says.
With the new space, the woman-owned business is expected to hire up to 20 additional high-wage jobs by the end of 2029. Renovations are already underway, and GovParts is expected to move to the new facility by the first quarter of 2027…
