MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – A liquor store in Owens Cross Roads is asking for help identifying a person of interest in an early-morning break-in on Tuesday.
According to Wagon Wheel Liquors, the suspect first attempted to break in through a side window that was boarded up. However, when that didn’t work, the person moved to the front door, prying it open with a crowbar.
“The alarm sounded, the cops were called and he stayed inside for 7-8 minutes rummaging through drawers in the front and back trying to find cash. Well, we don’t leave cash out at all so he gave up and grabbed liquor,” a post on the store’s Facebook page mentioned…
